The Man Behind Swas Electricals

Every company has a founding story. Ours starts with one person and one job site.In 2004, Bhargav Desai — an electrical engineer with nothing but hands-on training and a willingness to work — took up a supervisory role on a site in Ahmedabad. No office, no company name yet, just the discipline of showing up and learning the trade from the ground up.

A year later, he moved to Surat and began taking on subcontract work — smaller jobs, tighter margins, but real experience with real electrical systems. That groundwork paid off in 2006, when Swas Electricals landed its first direct contractor order: a rate contract with Torrent Power Limited. It was the first time the company's name appeared on a work order instead of someone else's.

Two decades later, Bhargav still runs the company he built from that first supervisory job — and the philosophy hasn't changed much. Show up. Do the work right. Follow safety procedure without being asked twice. Under his leadership, Swas Electricals has grown from a one-man operation into a 200+ strong team handling industrial, commercial, and residential electrification across Valsad, Vapi, Silvassa, and Surat — with long-term clients like Atul Ltd., L&T, and Reliance who've stayed on for over ten years at a stretch.
